BioGRAPHY of Anwar

Anwar was born with music in his DNA. His father the late Great "Tony Seymour Sr" was one of the Bahamas' premier Entertainers. He was affectionately known as the "Golden Boy", for achieving the Bahamas first Gold Record, in 1964, for the song titled "Pretty Blue Eyes".

Anwar has been performing for natives and tourists from the tender age of 8. He has won countless music awards, and has headlined every major casino in the Bahamas. He has toured Japan and Europe with the Baha-Men, as a lead singer. Lately he has been working Casinos in both the East to West Coast in the United States, while recording his new project, "Bahamian in New York". He also has an entertainment company in the Bahamas titled VIP Enterprises. With this new album Anwar wanted to express his vast knowledge of all types of music, while painting Bahamian story lines, never told before. By doing this he created a whole new type of music called "JunkaPopRock". Junka- representing the hard beating drums, and cow bell sounds known as Junkanoo, Pop - crafty pop melodies, and Rock- larger that life mentality of Rock and Roll.
